I am Santosh Singh. I grew up close to the challenges that most development work tries to solve from a distance. That shaped everything about how I work and what I choose to work on.

Today I am part of Intellecap, a member of the Aavishkaar Group, where I oversee its work across the Global South on climate solutions, social entrepreneurship and impact finance.

Being curious has helped more than any single skill. I read widely and have kept a public reading list for over fifteen years. Philosophy, metacognition, Indology, technology, literary fiction and well-written crime fiction which is a guilty pleasure I make no apologies for. I photograph seriously, mostly people and places. I tinker with technology because it genuinely excites me. The building, the breaking, the figuring out.

I teach occasionally at universities and business schools on sustainability, climate finance and the meta-skills that make any of it useful: how to think, how to learn.
